Overview

Chiandoni stands as a charming ice cream shop nestled in the heart of Nápoles, Ciudad de México. Situated on C. Pensilvania 255, this venue invites ice cream lovers and casual visitors alike to experience a blend of tradition and authentic Italian recipes brought to life in every scoop.

The menu at Chiandoni features a well-curated selection of both classic and unique flavors, with highlights that embrace nostalgic and inventive combinations. The Banana Split reimagined with mamey ice cream captures the essence of local flavor fusion, while the Helado de Elote offers a sweet, creamy twist on a Mexican favorite. For those seeking something more sumptuous, the Napolitano Arlequín, with its trio of vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, and pistachio, enhanced by optional hot chocolate syrup or strawberry marmalade, showcases the shop’s commitment to quality and rich taste.

The experience here is enhanced not only by the exquisite ice cream but also by the setting—an old-fashioned, diner-style space that feels both inviting and nostalgic. The staff’s warmth and swift service, especially at the counter, create a welcoming atmosphere that complements the artisanal nature of the offerings. For visitors less inclined toward traditional ice cream, options like ice cream cakes, shakes, and coffee broaden the appeal.

Chiandoni serves a diverse clientele, from families and couples to individual patrons who appreciate authentic, handmade ice cream that stays true to classic Italian methods. This dedication to preserving original recipes ensures the flavors remain vibrant and satisfying, as highlighted by returning customers who value both the hot fudge sundae and the rich vanilla ice cream.

In summary, Chiandoni is more than an ice cream shop; it is a space where heritage, quality, and community intersect. Whether you crave a refreshing mango scoop, a comforting Capuccino, or the indulgent Cassata Siciliana pie of ice cream, this venue offers a timeless experience where every visit feels like a tasteful trip back in time.

Nice old fashioned dinner style venue. The staff is friendly and service is fast especially if you seat at the counter. They have other options if you’re not in the mood for ice cream, like strawberries and cream, ice cream cakes, shakes, drinks, coffee. They have many flavors of both water and milk based ice cream but they could offer more. Prices are ok. Pp

This place needs to stay as it is. Everything works based on the original italian recipes and there is no reason to change it whatsoever. The hot fudge sundae and the vainilla icecream deserve a visit.
